Can I make my computer a host for the network although it is in a star topology?

I have ADSL Connection though a router.. It is a star topology, Router -> Switch -> 3 computers.. Can I make any configurations in the router to make my computer a server and a gateway to the 2 other computers?? 1. You'd make the changes in the network settings of the computers, not in the router. Search for "Internet Connection Sharing" on Microsoft's website for details.
2. you don't need to change the topology, you almost can't, ring or bus topologies use different cabling. Anyhow not sure what you mean by the host, but your router would be the gateway and you wouldn't want to set one of your PCs as a gateway. the default gateway is just the route it takes to get out on the internet
